Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure performed with the use of a surgical scalpel. The scalpel is used to gently shave the skin’s surface, removing the top layer of dead skin and peach fuzz.
Benefits of Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is used to exfoliate your skin. It has been said that dermaplaning can help promote cell turn over by triggering the body’s response to produce more cells. This helps bring more nutrients to the surface and help with skin texture, hyper pigmentation and overall skin evenness and tone.
Does it hurt?
Our Utah Licensed Master Estheticians perform all of our Dermaplaning treatments in Orem, Highland, Salt Lake and Draper. Dermaplaning is a mild exfoliation treatment that removes the top layer of dead skin cells. Most clients experience no pain during this treatment as it doesn’t penetrate deep into the skin or draw blood. We understand that not all skin is the same and not all pain tolerances are the same. Our estheticians are trained to make you feel as comfortable as process during a dermaplane treatment in Utah and will communicate with you throughout the entire treatment process.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
