What is eMatrix?
eMatrix is an FDA-cleared skin-resurfacing treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to generate heat under the surface of the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Also called Sublative Rejuvenation, this nonsurgical procedure is intended to improve the look of fine lines, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, and acne scarring. It can also tighten mildly loose skin and improve textural irregularities like large pores and acne scars.
Because it boosts skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin over time, your skin will continue to improve for up to five months after your last treatment, with long lasting results.

How does eMatrix Sublative Rejuvenation work?
Your skin expert applies the eMatrix applicator directly to your skin’s surface and moves over the treatment area in a gentle stamping motion. You’ll feel a prickly sensation and warmth as the device delivers RF energy to create a grid pattern of controlled injuries into both the dermis and epidermis, triggering a healing response. Healthy skin cells in between the grid points help accelerate the healing process.
Tip: For a week before an eMatrix treatment, avoid sun, wear SPF 30, and don’t use any harsh scrubs, glycolic acid, retinoids, or bleaching cream (hydroquinone).
What is eMatrix recovery like?
You can expect some redness, itching, and slight swelling for one or two days of your healing process.
People with sensitive skin or those who get the highest-energy application should plan on four to five days of social downtime, when any peeling or flaking will be most obvious.
How long does it take to see results from eMatrix?
You should start to see results within a few days of your first treatment, and those results will continue to improve for up to five months.
