Before your appointment

  • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks before treatment.
  • Stop using retinoids and skin irritants a few days before your appointment.

After your appointment

  • Apply sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily.
  • Avoid sweating or physical activity for at least 24 hours post-procedure.
  • Avoid direct UV exposure and exfoliation for one week, including picking or scratching the treated area.
  • Avoid laser or chemical procedures on the treated area for at least one month.

Our Signature Rejuvenation Treatments are designed to be comfortable. Most patients describe the sensations as a mild warmth or a light prickling feeling. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to ensure minimal discomfort.

Downtime can be minimal. You may experience mild redness or slight swelling for 1-3 days, similar to the feeling of a mild sunburn. This is a normal part of the healing process and typically resolves quickly. If your provider combines eMatrix or BBL with your treatment, you may experience slightly longer downtime, more swelling, and potential peeling if a chemical peel is included.
